Sending to all of you my deepest sympathies on the loss of our precious, youngest Mattern son, that I was so proud to have as my Uncle Bob. I have so many fond memories of his kindness, his gentle nature and his calm demeanor. I have very fun memories of visiting the house in Aberdeen and getting to watch my cousins tend to Mattern's Bait Shop at such a young age. I loved playing in the bait shop and all of the nature I was able to experience around that beautiful home. May God bless you all and may you feel the depth of God's loving comfort as you heal. Linda, we are so sorry for your loss. Louie always enjoyed going to the Bait Shop and visiting with Bob. Bob was a very special man. Hold on to all the special memories to help you through the hard days. Bob will be missed by so many people.

Bobby was only a year older then me. It has been years since we talk. Bobby mother and my mother were sisters. so makes Bobby a cousin. I had a really good talk with Bobby when Mary Lee died. It was really great talking with him.Wish I had lived closer so we could have a more visit. Praying for all the family and will keep the family in our prayers
