Our thoughts and prayers are with Joann's family. She was so thoughtful and caring and a wonderful listener. She loved our three daughters like they were her own and always referred to them as "her girls". She loved to remember and share the story of our youngest daughter (then two) escaping from the salon to avoid getting her hair cut. So many good memories of Joann. She will be missed.

I was privileged / appreciative to have JoAnn for a sister for all these many years. JoAnn was # nine of 12 children born to Anna Josephine (Skaug) Hovland and Theodore Curtiss Hovland. She was an angel among us, and will be dearly missed by many. The world would be a better place, were there more like this Child of God. I love you Sis!
