Skyler Barnard Marshall

Skyler B. Marshall, 36, of Aberdeen, SD, passed away Monday, August 28, 2023, at his home.

Skyler was never a fan of the traditional, so to properly honor him, a Celebration of Life will be at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at Schriver’s Memorial Chapel.

Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. prior to the service.

Skyler Barnard Marshall was born July 3, 1987, to William “Bill” and Joyce (Barnard) Marshall in Aberdeen, South Dakota. He graduated from Central High School in 2006.

Truly a “jack of all trades,” he specialized in any setting of repair work, welding, or woodworking. In his most recent years, an entrepreneur and ran a local painting business in town. He enjoyed spending time at the lake sailing with his family, his mom’s home-cooked meals, teaching his daughter Stella how to drive, and his beloved 4-legged rescue “Loki.”

His heart, energy, and larger-than-life presence will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.

Skyler is survived and loved by his daughter, Stella Person; parents Bill and Joyce Marshall; brothers Spencer (Navia) Marshall and Sam (Kelsey) Marshall; nephews Emmett, Liam, and Owen; and Stella’s mother, Gabrielle Person.

Greeting him in Heaven is his grandma Rosie Barnard.
