Obituary

Roylene Krueger Schwab, 84, of Aberdeen, SD, passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at Avera St. Luke’s Hospital.

There will be a Celebration of Life and Time of Remembrance held on Thursday, April 28, 2022, from 3-5 p.m., at Schriver’s Memorial Fellowship Center, Aberdeen.

Schriver’s Memorial Mortuary and Crematory, 414 5th Avenue NW, Aberdeen, is in charge of arrangements.  Family and friends may sign the online guestbook at www.schriversmemorial.com.

Roylene Krueger was born to Bonita (Bonnie) and A.P. (Butch) Krueger on November 7, 1937. She married Vernon Schwab in February 1956. They had four children, six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Roylene and Vernon farmed together on their farm southwest of Aberdeen for 66 years. After raising their children, Roylene went back to school and acquired a Master’s Degree and a Specialist Degree. She was highly intelligent and enjoyed learning. Roylene was an amazing wife, mother, and grandmother.

Grateful for having shared Roylene’s life is her husband of 66 years, Vernon; four children; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Roylene was preceded in death by her son, Patrick; and one great-granddaughter.
