Robert L. Ludwig

Robert L. Ludwig, 75, of Redfield, SD, passed away Friday, November 8, 2019, at Sanford Aberdeen Medical Center.

His wishes were to be cremated with no formal services being held.  Interment will take place at the Andover City Cemetery in Andover, SD at a later date.  

Schriver’s Memorial Mortuary and Crematory, 414 5th Avenue NW, Aberdeen, is in charge of arrangements.

Robert L. Ludwig was born January 26, 1944, to Amos and Violet (Krieger) Ludwig in Aberdeen.  This is the area where he was raised and attended school.  Following graduation from Aberdeen Central High School, Robert traveled for a number of years doing construction of various sorts before returning to Aberdeen to work with his family at Ludwig Construction, where he remained for many years.

In his spare time, Robert enjoyed attending auctions and rummage sales.

Robert is survived by his brothers:  Richard Ludwig (Roxanne Richter) of Aberdeen, Louis (Kathy) Ludwig of Redfield, SD and Fred (Janel) Ludwig of Aberdeen; and several nieces and nephews.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents.
