Naomi Fern Pulling, 89, of Aberdeen, SD, fell asleep in death at home, Monday, September 19, 2022.
A Celebration of Life Open House will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022, from 1-6 p.m., at the home of Craig and Noreen Pulling, 37837 Richmond Drive, Aberdeen, SD. Naomi will be buried alongside her husband at the Black Hill’s National Cemetery in Sturgis, SD.

Naomi Fern Pulling, Nonie, as many close to her affectionately called her, was born March 11, 1933, on her family farm in Kidder County, ND, to Edwin and Ida (Nerlien) Seagren. She was the youngest of six children.
Naomi and her parents moved to Aberdeen, SD, where she graduated from Aberdeen Central High School. Naomi began work as a secretary immediately after graduation.
She met and married Merlin “Push” Pulling, on June 16, 1956, in Aberdeen. Naomi continued to work while raising their four children. She loved to go for walks, enjoyed gardening, crossword puzzles, and watching classic movies and TV shows, her favorite being The Andy Griffith show. She was also an avid reader. Naomi will always be remembered for her sweet disposition, smile, and contagious laughter.
Grateful for having shared Naomi’s life are her children: Lori Pulling, Craig (Noreen) Pulling, Shelley (Craig Brown) Nutter, and Brent Pulling; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Naomi was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a brother; four sisters; grandson, Shane Nutter; and granddaughter, Brianne Nutter.
