Nancy Irvin, 80, of Aberdeen, SD, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2022, at Prairie Heights, Aberdeen.
Funeral Service will be 1:30 p.m., Saturday, November 26, 2022, at Schriver’s Memorial Chapel, Aberdeen.
Burial will be at Scandinavian Lutheran Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour before the service at the mortuary.

Nancy Lorraine Irvin was born December 3, 1941, in Highmore, SD. She became the daughter of Clifford and Lola Tuve in 1943. Nancy graduated from Summit High School in 1960.
After graduation, she moved to Watertown, SD, and worked in a turkey factory. She moved to Aberdeen, where she met Robert Irvin and they became married on April 24, 1973.
Nancy worked in a few different restaurants as a private cleaner, and eventually, she moved on to being a night supervisor for AMS cleaning company. She was employed there for 9 years until she went to work at Manor Care Nursing Home in 2006. Among her other jobs, Nancy also took pride in creating many beautiful ceramic paintings for nursing homes in the area. In 2015, Nancy was named Senior Companion and was with that until March 2019. It was then she had to quit all together and retire due to health reasons.
Grateful for having shared Nancy’s life are her son, Bradley Lindquist; and three grandsons: Joshua, Michael, and Jake Lindquist.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Irvin; sister Geneva Lien; daughter-in-law Mary (Gisi) Lindquist; brother-in-law, Alfred Lien; sister-in-law Judy Lien; nephew, Todd Lien; and niece, Cheryl Lien (Werlinger).
