Marvin Allen Rahm, 64, of Aberdeen, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2020, at Prairie Heights Healthcare in Aberdeen.
Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, September 9, 2020, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 409 2nd Avenue NE, Aberdeen, with Father Mark Axtmann, Celebrant.
Marvin’s wishes were to be cremated and burial will take place at the Artas Community Cemetery in Artas, SD, a later date.
Schriver’s Memorial Mortuary and Crematory, 414 5th Avenue NW, Aberdeen, is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be one hour prior to Mass at the church on Wednesday.

Marvin Allen Rahm was born November 12, 1955, in Aberdeen, SD to Clayton and Angeline (Feist) Rahm. He was raised and attended public schools in Aberdeen until moving with his family to Pueblo, CO, where he graduated from Pueblo High School. Marvin then attended auto body repair trade school and received his certification from Colorado Technical Institute. His entire career involved doing auto body repair work in numerous states. In September of 2017, Marvin returned to Aberdeen and became a resident of Prairie Heights Healthcare, where he remained until the time of his death.
Marvin loved traveling and spending time with his friends and family, especially his nieces and nephews.
Marvin is survived by his brothers, Mark (Tina) Rahm of Aberdeen and Marlon (Donna) Rahm of Vermillion, SD; his sisters, Marcia (Joe) Schmitt of Clarksville, TN and Mary (Tom) Edl of San Diego, CA; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clayton and Angeline; and two sisters, Marleen McIntire and Margaret Rahm.
