Mark E. Hormann was born August 1, 1958, in Bismarck, ND, to Marion and Leota (Kaven) Hormann. He attended Roncalli High School in Aberdeen and eventually moved to the Chicago area, where he worked as a machinist for L.M.T. Ansrud for many years. Mark liked the detail and precision that was involved in his work. He was well-liked by his friends and work associates.

When Mark was young, he enjoyed playing basketball and tennis with his friends. As he grew older, he enjoyed cooking and spending time with family. Mark always liked animals. Throughout his life, he had a few different cats, but he loved spoiling the dogs his parents and two sisters had.

Mark is survived by his two sisters: Marsha Hormann of Allen, TX, and Maria Boschee of Sioux Falls, SD.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Leota Hormann.

Mark will be missed by many, including family and friends. May he rest in peace.
