Margaret “Margie” Theresa Schlepp, 90, of Aberdeen, SD passed away Saturday, July 17, 2021 at her home in Aberdeen.
Mass of Christian burial is 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 23, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Aberdeen, with Fr. Michael Kapperman officiating.
Burial will take place at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Little Falls, MN, at a later date.
Visitation is 5:00-7:00 p.m., Thursday, at the mortuary with a liturgical wake at 7:00 p.m. Visitation continues one hour before Mass at the church.

Margaret “Margie” Theresa Feist was born February 10, 1931 to Frank and Theresa (Swiegler) Feist in Ridgeview, SD. She grew up in Ellendale, ND where she graduated from Ellendale High School.
Margie was united in marriage to Harold J. Schlepp in Ellendale on December 1, 1949. Their union was blessed with three children: Yvonne, Sandra, and John. Margie and Harold lived in Aberdeen, SD until 1960, where she worked for “The Flame” and “Mels” Café as a waitress and cook. She continued in the restaurant business upon their move to Tyndall, SD, where she owned her own café called “Red’s”. In 1967, They moved to Freeborn, MN. Margie continued her energetic nature by working with the physical and mentally disabled. She eventually retired in Waseca, MN. Margie finished her circle of life in Aberdeen.
Margaret loved to go to second hand stores and garage sales. She was always looking for a good deal. Her red hair and feisty personality made it easy to know when she was around.
She never let you leave her house without being told “God go with you”.
Blessed to have shared Margie’s life are her children: Yvonne (Duane) Kramer of Hoven, SD, Sandra Joachim of Aberdeen, and John Schlepp of Freeborn, MN; sister, Eliza Marinack; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Margie was preceded in death by her husband, Harold J. Schlepp; parents, Frank and Theresa Feist; brothers: Sam, Cashmire, Eugene, Valentine, and Joeseph; and sisters: Mary, Maretta, and Theresa.
