Linda M. McTague-Marko, 73, of Aberdeen, passed away surrounded by her loving family and friends on Friday, March 12, 2021 at her home. She was peaceful and at rest.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Aberdeen.

Schriver’s Memorial Mortuary and Crematory, 414 5th Avenue NW, Aberdeen, is in charge of arrangements. Family and friends may sign the online guestbook and also view the service at www.schriversmemorial.com.
Visitation is 5:00-6:30 p.m., Tuesday, at the mortuary with a Liturgical Wake and Rosary at 6:30 p.m. Visitation continues one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.
Linda M. McTague was born in Brookings, SD, on October 24, 1947 to Robert H. and Rose Marie (Gengler) McTague. She moved to Aberdeen in 1960, where she attended Aberdeen public schools and graduated from Aberdeen Central High School. She stayed in Aberdeen and raised her family. Linda worked various jobs and was most recently employed at Banner Engineering.
Linda enjoyed her family and friends around a campfire, fishing at the river and spending time with her grandchildren. She took a great joy in showing and helping others and had a heart of gold. Linda was described as a beautiful soul, inside and out. She also enjoyed her Sunday afternoon’s watching the Vikings. When Sunday football was over, Linda enjoyed watching her Hallmark movies.
Grateful for having shared Linda’s life is her mother, children: Chantell M Marko, Melissa (Todd) Pinkman, and Nicole (Anthony) Holmes; seven grandchildren: Amanda (Ted) Truedson, Hailey Johnson, Kaitlin Johnson, Cole Holmes, Madison Holmes, Ty Pinkman, and Maya Pinkman; one great grandchild, Dempsey; siblings: Sr. Barbara McTague, Susan (Paul) Kocer, Jeff McTague, Lisa (Tom) Berbos, Laurie McTague, Amy (Ron)Pasch, and many nieces and nephews. We will forever miss her generous soul.
Linda is preceded in death by her father, brothers, Ron McTauge and Tom McTague; great grandchild, Silas and her faithful dog, Frodo.
