Jessica was born to Jerry and Theresa (Pfeiffer) Cameron on December 2, 1979, in Vermillion, SD.  She spent her childhood growing up in Yankton, Vermillion, and later in Aberdeen, SD. Jessica was a bright and curious child who loved nature and never missed an opportunity to be outdoors with the family exploring, fishing, and hiking at the river.  She was a graduate of the Class of 1998 at Roncalli High School. Jessica was an exceptional student and athlete in high school and made her family proud of her efforts and achievements.  She would eventually go on to graduate from the University of South Dakota School of Nursing in 2014.  Jessica was a loving and caring nurse, who always put her patients first.   As well as being a compassionate nurse, she was also a loving mother of three beautiful children.  Jessica loved and cherished her three daughters:  Alexanna Grace (4), Arabelle Hope (4), and Piper Joy (3).  She was always looking for ways to develop their creativity, and curiosity, exposing them to new experiences and activities.

Jessica also had a big heart for rescue animals and was often taking her adopted fur babies “Patches” and “Colt” for nature walks.  She was an avid reader and took to heart many of the social justice issues in the world.  Jess loved gardening and was always sharing her home-made salsa and other goodies she grew. She looked forward to doing the “walk about” when she visited family gardens comparing the zen ambiance and progress of the plants.

Jessica always maintained her inner spirituality and exhibited that facet with her friendships of people from many cultural and diverse backgrounds.  She will always be loved and cherished by her family and will live on in our hearts with the good memories we share.

She is survived by her daughters:  Alexanna Grace, Arabelle Hope, and Piper Joy Cameron; her parents, Jerry and Theresa “Pfeiffer” Cameron; her sister, Katie (Matt) Hoyt; her brother, William Cameron; nieces, Kassie and Cameron; nephews:  Kayson, Bronsen, and Billy; paternal grandmother, Bernice (Walter) “Cameron” Davis; maternal grandmother, Janet Pfeiffer; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Jess is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Jerry Isaac Cameron; maternal grandfather, Herman Pfeiffer; cousin, Brandon Weiszhaar; and uncle, Darrell Weizshaar.
