Jeanette Ann Wiseman, 84, of Aberdeen, SD, passed away Monday, December 30, 2019, at Aberdeen Health and Rehab.
Her funeral service will be 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, January 7, 2020, at Schriver’s Memorial Mortuary and Crematory, 414 5th Avenue NW, Aberdeen, with Pastor Jeff Whillock, of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, officiating.
Burial will take place at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery in Aberdeen. Refreshments and a time of fellowship will follow at Schriver’s Memorial Fellowship Center.
Visitation at the mortuary will be 5-7 p.m., Monday, with a public prayer service beginning at 7:00 p.m. Visitation continues one hour before the service on Tuesday.

Jeanette Ann Hobus was born September 11, 1935, to Adolph and Clara (Christiansen) Hobus in Aberdeen. This is the area where she was raised and attended school until the 8th grade. She then began working at two local department stores.
Jeanette was united in marriage to Lawrence Wiseman on September 21, 1955, in Aberdeen. The couple made their home in Mansfield, Turton, and Ipswich, SD before settling in Aberdeen in 1964. Together they worked the land and managed their farm.
Jeanette loved going dancing. She and Lawrence greatly enjoyed traveling and visited every state west of the Mississippi and Canada. The couple wintered in Texas for the past 37 years, where fishing was a favorite activity as well as visiting Mexico.
Grateful for sharing in Jeanette’s life are her husband of 64 years, Lawrence Wiseman; her sons, Edwin Wiseman and Gary (Viloria) Wiseman; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one step-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents, Adolph and Clara; her brothers, Arnold Hobus and LeRoy Hobus; and one sister, Delores Anderson.
