Gary Allen Feiock, 80, of Sioux Falls, SD, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at Aberdeen Health and Rehab in Aberdeen, SD.
A Graveside Committal Service with Military Honors will take place at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Aberdeen, SD on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at 2 p.m. All are invited to attend. Family and relatives are to meet at Schriver’s Memorial Mortuary & Crematory at 1:30 p.m. to process to the cemetery.
A time of fellowship and luncheon will follow at Schriver’s Memorial Fellowship Center.

Gary Allen Feiock was born on August 5, 1942, in Eureka, SD to Ephraim and Viola (Kranzler) Feiock. He was raised in Aberdeen, SD, and graduated from Aberdeen Central High School.
He enlisted in the United States Army in 1960 and was honorably discharged.
Gary worked as a house painter his entire career. He enjoyed various hobbies including model railroading, model cars, taking care of his yard, and hanging out with his best (four-legged) friend, Onyx.
Gary and Carol were married on Sept. 12, 1997, in Aberdeen. They met at country dancing lessons and enjoyed attending country dance club events and showing off their dance skills. They spent time camping and had an annual family reunion, usually at a campground. They enjoyed traveling via chartered bus to various places, including, Illinois, Tennessee, Iowa, Nebraska, Missouri, and Minnesota. They also enjoyed playing the one-armed bandit at the casino to build up their petty cash fund. Gary and Carol moved to Sioux Falls in 2011 after he retired.
Gary is survived by his wife Carol (Struck) Feiock of Sioux Falls, SD; his child, Tina (Rick) Tompkins of Crestview, FL; his step-children, Connie (Curt) Hilzendeger of Aberdeen, SD, Joe (Sandy) Giovannettone of Watertown, SD, Jerry (Laree) Giovannettone of Sioux Falls, SD, and Jason (Preethi) Giovannettone of Silver Spring, MD; grandchildren: Lindsey Tompkins, Adam Tompkins, Ryan Tompkins, Hayleigh Tompkins, Braelyn Tompkins, Tony Hilzendeger, Tyler Hilzendeger, Chris Hilzendeger, Collin Hilzendeger, Heather (Dylan) Lauseng, Mitchell (Marissa) Giovannettone, Phillip Giovannettone, Olivia Giovannettone, John Giovannettone, Lane Giovannettone, Chandini Giovannettone, and Mrinaali Giovannettone; great-grandchildren: Noah Tompkins, Dior Tompkins, Grace Lauseng, Winston Lauseng, and Eleanor Giovannettone, siblings Audrey (Richard) Graves of Ethan, SD and Darlene (Duane) Rasmussen of Richmond, VA.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Ephraim and Viola Feiock; son Wade Feiock; Marge Feiock; sister Marlys Patterson; brother Orville Feiock; sister-in-law JoAnn Feiock.
