Freddie Dave Wollman was born November 6, 1956, to David and Susie (Hofer) Wollman in Huron, SD.  He began working at a young age following completion of school.  Fred spent many years employed at OK Tire and Graham Tire before pursuing his passion, which was farming.  He was employed with Ellwien Farms for several years before beginning what would become a 20+ year career with Jones Farms in Bath, SD, where he worked the rest of his days.

Fred was united in marriage to Barb Sterzinger on November 24, 1995 in Frederick, SD.

In his free time, Fred enjoyed the outdoors where he found his true passions in hunting and fishing.  He especially looked forward to the many years in which Scotty Stein and his brother-in-law, Charlie Sterzinger, came to duck hunt and visit.  Fred also enjoyed processing meat and smoking turkeys.  His deer sausage was a favorite among family and friends and will forever be missed.

Grateful for sharing Fred’s life is his wife of 25 years, Barb Wollman and their children, Joey and Samantha (Michael); his son, Brad (Jess) Wollman of Craig, CO; his daughter, Robyn Luft; four grandchildren:  Gavin Wollman, Riley Wollman, Keanna Luft and Jaden Hanley; and his siblings: Eli, Joseph, David, Justina, Paulina and Suzanna.

Fred is preceded in death by his parents, David and Susie Wollman; mother and father-in-law, Margaret and Joe Sterzinger; brother-in-law, Joseph Sterzinger; sister-in-law, Mary Kellar; and son-in-law, Donald Luft, III.
