Dezirae Lerew-Bohn

Dezirae Lerew-Bohn, 24 of Aberdeen, SD, tragically passed away Monday, March 28, 2022, near Clark, due to injuries sustained from a motor vehicle accident.

A private family Memorial Service will be Monday, April 4, 2022, at Schriver’s Memorial Chapel. Pastor Micah Westby of New Life Fellowship will be officiating.

Dezirae Elizabeth Bohn was born November 12, 1997, in Aberdeen, SD, to William and Heidie (Tewksbury) Bohn. She was a strong-willed, determined young woman with a fierce attitude. She stood her ground when she believed in something. Dezirae achieved many amazing things in her short life, including owning a home, owning a new vehicle, and doing anything she set her mind to. She enjoyed traveling and she wanted her kids to grow up with the best of everything. She loved Starbucks coffee and her career as a traveling, med-certified CNA. Dezirae was a free-spirited young woman.

Dezirae was a loving mother to Brexxlynn Figgins and Baxxtynn Lerew, her kids were her life. She had an indescribable relationship with her grandfather, Steve Tewksbury, and was very close to her grandmother, Betty Tewksbury. She loved her siblings. She had three brothers: Jace, William, and Josh Bohn, and three sisters: Isabella and Aubrey Kraig, and Brantley Pierce.

Dezirae is survived by her two children, Brexxlynn and Baxxtynn; her mother, Heidie Kraig; her father and stepmother, William (Kim) Bohn; her six siblings; her maternal grandparents, Steve and Betty; her paternal grandmother, Sharon Schaunaman; her great-grandparents, Bob and Dorothy Berg; her boyfriend, Vince Van Buskirk; many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and coworkers. She will be dearly missed.
