Debra “Debbie” Ann Mack, 72, of Aberdeen, SD, passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at Avera St. Luke’s Hospital.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 13, 2023, at Schriver’s Memorial Chapel, with Pastor John Hisel officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.  A time of fellowship and a luncheon will immediately follow the Memorial Service.

Burial will be at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, near Columbia, at a later date.

Debra Ann Milbrandt was born on October 27, 1951, to Lester and Iva (Seagren) Milbrandt in Aberdeen, South Dakota. Debbie attended Aberdeen public schools and graduated from Aberdeen Central High School in 1969. Following high school, Debbie married Garold Weisenburger in 1969. To this union, one son, Cory, was born. Debbie later started working for the Aberdeen Elks Lodge, where she was employed for many years.

Debbie married Rod Mack in Aberdeen in November of 1981. The couple continued to make their lifelong home in Aberdeen. After being employed for many years at the Elks, she was a housekeeper for many Aberdeen families. Debbie enjoyed playing Scrabble and playing cards, especially Whist. In her earlier years, she enjoyed snowmobiling and playing volleyball. Debbie always had a strong love for animals, especially her cats and rat terrier, Midnight. She had a passion for music, especially 70/80’s rock n’ roll and metal.

Grateful for having shared Debbie’s life are her husband, Rod, of 42 years; one son, Cory Weisenburger of Aberdeen; two brothers: Dennis (Barb) Milbrandt of Huron, SD, and Kirk Milbrandt of Huron, SD; and two granddaughters: Kelcie Weisenburger, and Kaitlyn Weisenburger.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Connie Weisenburger.
