Bonnie J Seymour was born to Harold and Josephine (Bootsma) Seymour in Linton, North Dakota on March 21, 1941. Bonnie met the love of her life Kennard in Aberdeen, South Dakota. They were married on February 4, 1961 and were blessed to have been married 62 years. Bonnie enjoyed her career and touched many lives working at different hospitals in various roles until her retirement from Avera Hospital after 37 years. After her retirement she and Kennard move to his family farm by Pickerel Lake, Sisseton, SD. She was so happy she could share her love for the farm with family and friends. We would all come together as Children, Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and friends to make such wonderful memories that we will treasure forever. Her smile, laughter and welcoming heart will be remembered by so many that were lucky enough to be a part of her life. Bonnie passed away on Friday September 8, 2023 after her courageous battle with Parkinson's. She was welcomed into the arms of our Lord Jesus with family by her side.
Bonnie is survived by her husband of 62 years, Kennard of Pickerel Lake; four children, Jim Wike of Aberdeen, South Dakota, Brenda (Dale) Bruckner of Aberdeen, South Dakota, Kim (Darius) Schwan of Aberdeen and Sheri (Jeff) Rubino of Aberdeen, South Dakota; two brothers, Rick (Kathy) Seymour of Pollock, South Dakota and Frank (Sonja) Seymour of Pollock, South Dakota; two sisters, Sylvia (Jerry) Huizenga of Linton, North Dakota and Sandy(Donnie) Quenzer of Aberdeen, South Dakota; nine grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
