Victoria R. Olson

Victoria R. Olson, 73, of Arlington, SD, and formerly of Ipswich, SD, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2018, at Brookings Health System in Brookings, SD.

Graveside committal services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, May 7, 2018, at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery in Aberdeen.  Reverend Dr. Val Putnam, Pastor Emerita of Westminster Presbyterian Church, will officiate.

Schriver’s Memorial Mortuary and Crematory, 414 5th Avenue NW, Aberdeen, is in charge of arrangements.

Victoria Ruby Olson was born on March 6, 1945, in Aberdeen, SD to Albert W. and Elaine V. (Crady) Olson.  She was raised on the family farm near Ipswich, SD, where she attended school.  Victoria then moved to Bryant, SD, where she lived for several years.  She then relocated to Arlington, SD, and continued to reside there until the time of her death.

Grateful to have shared in Victoria’s life are her mother, Elaine Olson of Aberdeen; and four sisters:  Pam (Mike) Bruckner of Rock Valley, IA, Cindy (David) Pashko and Connie Blank, both of Marietta, GA and Mitzi (Tim) Dosch of Aberdeen.

Victoria was preceded in death by her grandparents, Marvin and Ruby Crady and Robert and Minnie Olson; her father, Albert Olson; and her brother-in-law, Jerry Blank.
