Vicki Rene (Lout) Goebel, 54, of Aberdeen, passed away Friday, April 26, 2019, at her home following a courageous battle with cancer.  Her wishes were to be cremated.

Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 31, 2019, at Schriver’s Memorial Mortuary and Crematory, 414 5th Avenue NW, Aberdeen, with Pastor Gary Compton of First Baptist Church officiating.  A luncheon and time of fellowship will immediately follow the service at Schriver’s Memorial Fellowship Center.

Visitation at the mortuary will be 5-7 p.m., Thursday, May 30, 2019, and one hour prior to the service on Friday.

Vicki Rene Lout was born July 30, 1964, to Derald “Jack” and Karen (Severson) Lout in Aberdeen.  This is the area where she was raised and attended school, graduating from Aberdeen Central High School with the Class of 1982.

Vicki was united in marriage to Gary Goebel on May 18, 1990.  The couple made Aberdeen their home, where Vicki was most recently employed at Ken’s Superfair Foods, until she became too ill to work.  She continued to reside in Aberdeen until the time of her death.

Vicki loved spending time outdoors camping, fishing, and playing softball.  She also enjoyed playing pool in her spare time.

Grateful to have shared in Vicki’s life is her husband of almost 29 years, Gary Goebel, her father, Derald “Jack” Lout and her sister, Kathy Lout, all of Aberdeen; her nieces, Britney Lout of Glendale, AZ and Keyauna Lemke of Aberdeen; her nephew, Brandon Lout of Aberdeen; and great-nieces:  Michelle Lout-Fischer and Erica May of Glendale, AZ and Rose Lemke of Aberdeen.

Vicki was preceded in death by her mother, Karen Lout, on January 20, 2016.
