Theresa Miller, 89, passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, in Coon Rapids, MN.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Aberdeen. A visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.

A time of fellowship and luncheon will follow the burial at St. Mary's Parish Hall.

Theresa M. Fischer was born on February 25, 1935, to John and Louise (Roth) Fischer in Ipswich, South Dakota. She was raised on the farm and attended farm school until she moved to Aberdeen to attend high school.  She graduated from Aberdeen Central High School in 1953.

She met Robert "Bob" Miller at a wedding dance, and they were married on May 15, 1959.  She worked at the Ward Hotel until she had a family and then was a stay-at-home mom and did daycare out of her home.  She retired in 1983. She loved to cook, bake, and can vegetables from their garden. Her greatest joy was spending time with family and friends.  They did a lot of camping, played cards, and loved going to jam sessions.

Her and Bob started wintering in Florida and later bought a place in Mesa, Arizona where they met many friends and really enjoyed being snowbirds.  In 2013, they moved to Minnesota to be closer to their kids.

Grateful for sharing her life are her children Gary (Jane) Miller and Charlene (Ross) Johnson; 5 grandchildren: Brandon (Jenni), Justin (Mirella), Briana, Kayla (Brian), and Elsie; 5 great-grandchildren: Sydney, Morgan, Eden, Wesley and Maxwell; and Siblings: Delores (Larry) Scheid and Larry (Joan) Fischer.

Theresa was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Bob.
