Terrance Yun

Terrance “Terry” Yun, 74, of Aberdeen, SD, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at Avera St. Luke’s Hospital.

Memorial Service will be 11:00 a.m., April 22, 2023, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Aberdeen, SD, with Pastor Terry Rawertz officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church. A time of fellowship and luncheon will follow the service at the church hall.

Terrance “Terry” Yun was born August 18, 1948, to Eddie and Harriet (Lewis) Yun in Rapid City, SD.  Terry was raised and attended grade school and high school in Rapid City. After he graduated high school, he worked at Homestake Mine in Lead, SD. Later, he enlisted in the Navy. Terry served four years in Vietnam and served aboard the Albert David.  After his discharge, Terry returned to Rapid City and worked for Lewis Truck Line for 28 years.

He married Eve Ladner on May 24, 1997. In his free time, Terry enjoyed reading, going on archeological digs, metal detecting, watching baseball and football, and loved to fish.

Grateful for having shared Terry’s life are his wife Eve; daughter Kristi Dosch of Sioux Falls; sisters: Laurie (Marlin) Lacroix and Suzanne Mutchler; sisters-in-law: Sarah (Tom) Jones, Priscilla (Vern) Pfeifle, Paulette Olivera; brothers in law: Sid (Arsenal) Gonsor, Dave (Karen) Gonsor, Les (Julie) Gonsor, and Tony (Mary) Gonsor; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Terry was preceded in death by his mother and father; aunt and uncle; and nephews Aaron and Nicholas.
