Shirley K. Ashley, 88, of Aberdeen, passed away Sunday, September 22, 2013, at ManorCare Health Services in Aberdeen.
Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 25, 2013, at Schriver's Memorial Mortuary & Crematory, 414 5th Avenue NW, Aberdeen, with Pastor Gary Compton officiating.
Shirley's wishes were to be cremated with interment taking place next to her husband, Ross, in Forman, ND, at a later date.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the mortuary.
Shirley K. Hedlin was born on November 20, 1924, in Chicago, IL, to George D. and Myrtle (Huemmer) Hedlin.
Shirley was united in marriage to Ross Ashley. She made a career working as a Depot Agent for the Milwaukee Railroad.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews and many friends.
