Sara Beth Molseed was born on June 4, 1952, to U.R. "Tony" and Sara (Leahy) Molseed in Chamberlain, SD. Sara Beth showed that even with limitations, people can lead productive lives and positively impact others.
Sara was gainfully employed for 35 years, before retiring this past summer, from Aspire (formerly known as the Adjustment Training Center) in Aberdeen. In many ways, Beth was a teacher, teaching and testing on the values of compassion and patience.
Known to many as Beth, she was a playwright and writer of daily journals. She often acted as a director assigning roles to her brothers to make her plays come to life. Sara Beth was also an athlete. Coming from a family of four brothers, it was she that brought home many trophies and ribbons in swimming and field events through participation in multiple Special Olympics, including the International Special Olympics in New Orleans in the mid 70's.
Sara's parents, one infant brother, niece, Amy, and nephew, Willie, preceded her in death.
She is survived by four brothers: John of Iowa City, IA, Bill (Marie) of Pierre, SD, Tim of Spearfish, SD and Dick of Sioux Falls, SD.
The family would like to especially thank James, Angela, Megan, and the many other wonderful people from Aspire that provided so much to Sara to enrich her life.
