Sandy was born December 20, 1971, to Anita (Borgheiinck) Zubke-Reiprich and Robert D. Zubke in Webster, SD. She attended school in Webster, SD and graduated in 1990. Sandy continued her education at DSU in Madison, SD, majoring in Medical Records/Coding.

Sandy, from humble means, learned the definition of “hard work” at a young age. Having learned that the most important things in life are worth working for, she sought and successfully instilled this principle in her husband and children. Sandy was, and her memory will continue to be, a source of inspiration, morality and courage for all who knew her. She enjoyed: baking, cooking, bookkeeping, painting, gardening, decorating, her pets: Rocky, Rambo and Bentley, the cabin at Pickerel Lake and associated pontoon rides, and a home in Lake Havasu, AZ. Sandy was involved in: PEO, Aberdeen Central Special Education Board and supporting groups at Aberdeen Roncalli. When Sandy graduated from DSU, she moved to Aberdeen and worked for Dr. Lynch and later worked for H & R Block. She was currently working at Plaques and Engraving at the time of her passing.

Sandy married James M. Rohl on April 25, 1997. Sandy’s greatest love was her family, especially her husband and children. Words, literally, fail to describe how much she will be missed by her family and friends that love her.

Grateful for having shared Sandy’s life are her husband, James M. Rohl, Aberdeen, SD; son, Robert J. Rohl, Rapid City, SD; daughters: Ashley Rohl, Cincinnati, OH and Olivia Rohl, Aberdeen, SD; sisters: Cathy Rumpca (Jerit Heinz), Aberdeen, SD and Susan (Chad) Simon, Tea, SD; one brother, Michael (Dana) Reiprich, Summerset, SD; nephews: Connor Rumpca, Brookings, SD, Collin Rumpca, Aberdeen, SD, and Brayden Simon, Tea, SD; mother, Anita Reiprich, Webster, SD; Grandmother, Marvelyn Zubke, Waubay, SD; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Sandy was preceded in death by her father, Robert D. Zubke, in September 1975; father and mother-in-law, Robert and Carol Rohl; and grandparents, Leo Zubke and Caroline and Martin Borgheiinck.
