Rodney "Mouse" Sanders

Rodney “Mouse” Dean Sanders, 72, passed away on July 20, 2026.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Rodney was born on November 15, 1952, in Aberdeen, South Dakota, to John Paul Sanders and Geraldine “Gerry” Rose (Gabriel).

Rodney spent many years working in the flooring industry, where he built lasting friendships. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, and was known for his quick wit, storytelling, and ability to make others laugh.

Rodney is survived by his wife, Kim Sanders; his son, Shaun (Diana) Sanders; his daughter, Leslie (Chris) Vorster; his grandchildren, Angie, Amir, Aria, Chase, and Liv; his sister, Peggy (Joey) Kusser; and his brothers, Doug (Brenda) Sanders, Brad (Alisa) Tunby, Tony Tunby, John Paul (Lori) Sanders, and Bobby Rott; as well as many nieces and nephews.
