Robert "Bob" Joseph Binfet

Robert "Bob" Joseph Binfet, 78, of Aberdeen, passed away Monday, March 7, 2016, at Avera St. Luke's Hospital in Aberdeen.
His memorial service will be 1:30 p.m., Friday, March 11, 2016, at Schriver's Memorial Mortuary & Crematory, 414 5th Avenue NW, Aberdeen, with Father Mark Lichter officiating.
A time of fellowship and refreshments will immediately follow the service at Schriver's Memorial Fellowship Center.

Robert Joseph Binfet was born June 7, 1937, to Peter and Elizabeth (Benfit) Binfet in Onaka, SD. This is the area where he was raised and attended school.
Bob then began working construction and driving truck for various companies hauling gravel and building roads.
Bob was united in marriage to Dianna Bryant at Seneca, SD on June 28, 1965. The couple lived in Seneca for a couple of years before moving to Aberdeen in 1967, where Bob continued to reside until the time of his death.
Bob enjoyed spending time outdoors and especially loved working in his yard. He also enjoyed listening to "old time" music, particularly polkas and waltzes. Above all, Bob loved his family and enjoyed being a grandpa. He always made sure to get a hug from each of his grandchildren every time he saw them.
Blessed to have shared Bob's life is his wife of over 50 years, Dianna Binfet of Aberdeen; two sons, Ed (Janet) Binfet of Aberdeen and Brian Binfet of Sioux Falls, SD; three grandchildren: Landon Binfet and Megan Binfet and Erika Binfet; and one sister, Agnes (Harvey) Baus of Hoven, SD.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers: Paul, Walter, and Anton Binfet; and two sisters, Philipina "Phil" Lingor and Pauline Weron.
