Richard Eugene Dohman

Richard Eugene Dohman, 82, of Aberdeen, passed away Friday, December 18, 2020, at his home.

Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 409 3rd Avenue SE, Aberdeen, with Fr. Michael Kapperman, Celebrant.

Burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Aberdeen.

Schriver’s Memorial Mortuary and Crematory, 414 5th Avenue NW, Aberdeen, is in charge of arrangements.  Family and friends may sign Richard’s online guestbook and also view his service at www.schriversmemorial.com.

Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m., Tuesday, at the mortuary, with a liturgical wake beginning at 7:00 p.m.  Visitation continues one hour before Mass at the church on Wednesday.

Richard’s family respectfully requests the use of masks at his visitation and services.

Richard Eugene Dohman was born June 8, 1938, to George and Agnes (Kriech) Dohman in Andover, SD.  He graduated from Groton High School.  Richard was united in marriage to Lorraine (Mitchell) Dohman in Deadwood, SD, on July 12, 2005.

Richard is survived by his wife, two brothers: Les (Carol) Dohman of Groton, SD and Herb Dohman of Sioux Falls, and his sons, who were very special to him, Tom from Chesapeake, VA, and Troy from Atlanta, GA.
