DUE TO SEVERE WEATHER, THE BURIAL HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL THURSDAY, DECEMBER 5, 2024, AT 1:00 P.M. IN STRASBURG, ND.

Regina Senger, 95, of Aberdeen, SD, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2024, at Bethesda Home of Aberdeen.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Schriver’s Memorial Chapel, Aberdeen.

A time of fellowship and luncheon will follow the funeral at Schriver’s Memorial Fellowship Center.

Visitation will be one hour before the service.

Schriver’s Memorial Mortuary and Crematory, 414 5th Avenue NW, Aberdeen, is in charge of arrangements. Family and friends may sign the online guestbook at www.schriversmemorial.com. Services will be recorded and posted on Schriver’s website following the service.

Regina D. Dietz was born on October 21, 1929, to Anton and Margaretha (Wolf) Dietz in Linton, ND. She attended country school near Linton.

Regina married Andrew “Andy” Senger at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Linton, ND, on October 5, 1948. They made their home in Strasburg, ND, and Milwaukee, WI, then moved to Roscoe, SD, in 1952, where Regina was a homemaker and farmer’s wife. When Andy retired in 1978, the family returned to Strasburg, ND. Regina worked in dietary at the Strasburg Nursing Home for 12 years before she retired.

Regina took great pride in her garden and flowers, was a very competitive pinochle player, enjoyed quilting, and crocheted many afghans for all her family and friends. Regina was always sure she had food on the table for guests and family whenever they arrived.

Regina is survived by her son, Ken (Dawn) Senger of Sioux Falls, SD; three daughters: Gerri (Pius) Heier of New Braunfels, TX, Deb (Ron) Barondeau of Mitchell, SD, and Fran (Rob) Godel of Aberdeen, SD; 11 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 58 years, Andrew (died October 22, 2006); three brothers; and six sisters.
