Pauline Rohrich, 93, of Aberdeen and formerly of Eureka, SD, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2018, at Bethesda Home of Aberdeen.

Mass of Christian burial will be 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 409 3rd Avenue SE, Aberdeen with Father Mark Lichter and Father Patrick Grode officiating.

Pauline’s wishes were to be cremated.  Burial will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at the Eureka City Cemetery in Eureka, SD.

Schriver’s Memorial Mortuary & Crematory, 414 5th Avenue NW, Aberdeen, is in charge of arrangements.  Friends may sign Pauline’s online guestbook and also view her service via the live stream service link at www.schriversmemorial.com.

Visitation will be one hour prior to Mass at the church on Tuesday.

Pauline Wolf was born September 2, 1924 to John J. and Anna (Miller) Wolf in Hillsview, SD.  This is the area where she was raised, attended rural schools, and lived until 1968.

Pauline was united in marriage to Anton Rohrich on January 12, 1948, in Aberdeen.  The couple made their home in Hillsview until 1968, when they moved to Eureka, SD.  While living in Eureka, Pauline was employed at Boschee Meat Market for many years.

In 2008, Pauline and Anton moved to Aberdeen.  They shared over 61 years of marriage and raised two daughters before he passed away on January 27, 2009.  Pauline continued to reside in Aberdeen until the time of her death.

In her free time, Pauline enjoyed embroidering.  She was very skilled at the craft and was well known for her beautifully embroidered dishtowels.

Blessed to have shared in Pauline’s life are her daughters:  Carol (Bill) Gates of Aberdeen and Judy Rohrich; one brother, Pius (Kathy) Wolf; and two sisters:  Francis (Dick) Hunter and Maggie Saunders.

Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Anton; her parents, John and Anna; and two brothers, Lawrence and Paul; and two sisters, Helen and Theresa.
