Patrick Gillick

Patrick Gillick, 76, of Aberdeen, SD, went home to his Heavenly Father on Friday, March 24, 2023, at Bethesda Nursing Home.

There will be a Graveside Committal Service at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at Riverside Memorial Cemetery, with Father Jeffrey Schulte officiating. Fellowship and refreshments to follow at Schriver's Memorial Fellowship Center.

Pat Gillick was born on April 14, 1946, to Donald and Emma (Buechler) Gillick in Aberdeen, SD. He grew up in Ipswich, SD, and moved to Aberdeen at the age of eighteen. Pat married Mona Liedle on July 15, 1967. They made their home together in Aberdeen. The couple was blessed with one daughter, Kerry Gillick.

Pat spent most of his working years driving semi. He worked for Brown County Co-Op, Mobile Oil, and retired from Harms Oil after 30 years.

Pat liked to travel and fish, especially at the river with his friend Jerry Reed.

Pat requested no wake or funeral services. He was very concerned about his family and friends being exposed to Covid because of him. Let this be Pat’s last gift to you: keeping you safe and well.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mona; daughter, Kerry Gillick; two sisters, Carol Harder and Elaine (Jack) Geffre; three nieces; one great-niece; and five great-nephews.
