Miguel "Mike" Mejia Serna, 88, of Aberdeen, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2013, at Avera St. Luke's Hospital in Aberdeen.
Miguel's wishes were to be cremated with a private family service being held at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Aberdeen.
Schriver's Memorial Mortuary & Crematory, Aberdeen, is in charge of arrangements.
Miguel is survived by his son, Daniel (Leesa) Serna of Colorado; his daughter, Maria (John) Ryden of California; seven grandchildren; and two sisters.
