Marjorie “Midge” Link was born September 2, 1933, in Huron, SD, to Valentine and Mary (Sprowl) Link. She was raised and graduated high school in Huron.

After high school, Midge was united in marriage to Gerald Lee “Jerry” Campbell on April 17, 1953. They lived in many different places around the country before settling in Aberdeen, SD. Three children were born to their union: Deborah, Jay, and Todd.

Midge worked as a receptionist for Dacotah Bank for many years. She and Jerry enjoyed traveling and bowling together. She was in many bowling leagues in her earlier years. She was a very talented bowler and could keep up with the guys like it was nothing. Midge also loved playing Bridge and was in several Bridge clubs and exercise groups as well. She enjoyed spending time with her girl group and eating out, especially at Marlins or the Millstone. Midge lit up and was so giddy when eating out, it was such a treat to her.

Midge was a friend to many and will be dearly missed by her children: Deborah Campbell of Aberdeen, SD, Jay (Kathy) Campbell of Sparks, NV, and Todd Campbell of Buckeytown, MD; grandchildren: Paige (Nick) Froese, Megan (Cooper) Small, Charles Fjeldheim, Karen (Clint) Thomas, and Michael (Maria) Fjeldheim; great-grandchildren: Antoinette, Benedict, Desmond, and Daphne; sister, Betty Higgins of Wessington Springs; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Midge was preceded in death by her parents; husband Jerry; and siblings: Marion Crosby, Raymond Link, and Dorothy McManus.
