Mark Anton Yrdanoff

Mark Anton Yrdanoff, 60, of Aberdeen, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2015, at his residence.

Mark's wishes were to be cremated with no formal services being held.

A gathering of family and friends, and time of fellowship, will take place from 2-4 p.m., Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Schriver's Memorial Mortuary and Crematory, 414 5th Avenue NW, Aberdeen.

Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Aberdeen.

Mark Anton Yrdanoff was born September 29, 1955, to Tony and Isabel (Schiley) Yrdanoff in Aberdeen, SD. This is the area where he was raised and attended school. Following graduation from Aberdeen Central High School, Mark began employment as a carpenter with Shorty Bader and Elmer Zahn before becoming a self-employed carpenter. In his later years, he helped his uncle on the farm.

Mark was united in marriage to Lisa Ruckman in Aberdeen.

In his spare time, Mark enjoyed working on his Camaro, hot rodding, snowmobiling, and sitting around having a brew. Mark wishes were that everyone would have a Lord Calvert to celebrate his life. Mark very much appreciated the frequent visits made by Charlie and Deb and was extremely grateful to his sister, Sherry, for taking care of him.

Surviving Mark is his daughter, Crystal Hinz of Boulder, CO; his sister, Sherry (Paul) Jung of Aberdeen; his stepmother, Mavis Yrdanoff of Bristol, SD; and one niece, Tina (Ross) Horning of Sioux Falls, SD.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Barb Sterle.
