Marilyn Louise (Hase) Littrell was born January 14, 1942, to Charles and Florence (Ellis) Hase in Minneapolis, MN. This is the area where she was raised and attended school before graduating from North High School in Minneapolis.
Marilyn was united in marriage to Larry Littrell on April 27, 1963, in Minneapolis. Their union was blessed with two daughters, Kathy and Sue. The family lived in New Hope, MN and Buffalo, MN before making their home in Warner in 1972. Marilyn was employed as a secretary at the Warner School before becoming the bookkeeper for Braun Trucking and Braun Farms, where she truly enjoyed her work and all those she worked with. After 30 years at Braun Farms, in 2011, Marilyn retired to take care of her great-grandchildren, who held a very special place in her heart. She continued to make Warner her home until the time of her death.
Marilyn lived a life full of faith and love, always putting others first. In her spare time, Marilyn enjoyed fishing, scrapbooking, gardening, and shopping. Above all, she was a much-loved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who enjoyed watching her family grow and interact. She especially loved attending all of her children and grandchildren's activities.
Blessed to have shared Marilyn's life is her husband of over 52 years, Larry Littrell of Warner; her daughters, Kathy (Fred) Marnette of Warner and Sue Littrell of Eagan, MN; grandchildren: Leah (Corey) Haaland of Warner, Kelsey (Tony) Kulesa of Kansas City, KS, Kacy Marnette (Mitchell Waltman) of Leola, SD, and Stephanie Sierzega of Eagan, MN; and great-grandchildren: Avery, Kayleigh, and Kinley Haaland, and baby Kulesa, due in September; brothers: Jim (Carol) Hase of Glenham, SD, Bill (Char) Hase of Rockford, MN, and Paul Hase of Bloomington, MN; and many nieces and nephews.
Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Marv; one sister, Myra; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law.
