Marilyn Joan Lehr, 89 of Aberdeen, SD, passed away on February 3, 2023, at Avera St. Luke’s Hospital.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 11, 2023, at Schriver’s Memorial Chapel in Aberdeen.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery at 3:00 p.m.

Marilyn Joan Wiseman was born August 18, 1933, in Shelby County, Missouri to Hugh and Anna (Fredrich) Wiseman. The family moved to South Dakota in 1945 and settled in Mansfield, SD. Marilyn went to Warner school and graduated in 1952.
After graduation, Marilyn then went to The School of Commerce in Aberdeen. Following school, she worked at Forseth Insurance for four and a half years before she made her career at the Department of Labor for thirty-nine years. Before and during her employment at Forseth Insurance, she worked on the farm and helped when she was off work. Marilyn would drive the combine and haul grain to help, along with operating other farm equipment.
Marilyn married Eugene Lehr on June 30, 1972. They enjoyed traveling together and ventured on many trips to Texas, Nashville, and Branson. Marilyn also enjoyed gardening and playing cards, especially Pinochle.
Grateful for having shared Marilyn’s life are her nephews, Eddie Wiseman, Gary (ViLoria) Wiseman, Hugh (Karen) Dahme, and Ron (Jane) Dahme; friend, Marvin (Karen) Hofer; and one sister, Joyce Dahme.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eugene; one sister, Dorothy Bossly; and one brother, Lawerance Wiseman.
