Marilyn A. Hase

Marilyn A. Hase, 77, of Aberdeen, SD, passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at her home in Aberdeen.

Memorial Service is 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at Schriver’s Memorial Mortuary, Aberdeen.

A time of fellowship will be held after the service at Schriver’s Memorial Fellowship Center.

Schriver’s Memorial Mortuary and Crematory, 414 5th Avenue NW, Aberdeen, is in charge of arrangements.  Family and friends may sign the online guestbook and also view the service at www.schriversmemorial.com.

Visitation is one hour before the service at the mortuary.

Marilyn A. Goebel was born February 12, 1944, to Anthony and Edith (Fix) Goebel in Gettysburg, SD.  She was raised in Gettysburg and later moved to Aberdeen, SD.  After graduating high school, Marilyn attended and graduated from Presentation College.  Marilyn married Robert Kendall in the early 1960’s and they had two children, Jon and Kathryn.  She worked at Dakota Midland Hospital and later St. Luke’s Hospital as a Registered Nurse.  She retired from nursing to take care of her mother.

Marilyn enjoyed the outdoors and took joy in gardening, watching and feeding animals, and caring for her yard.  She also like playing cards, reading, doing puzzles, and going to church.

Grateful for having shared her life is her daughter, Kathryn Wedemann; grandchildren: Cassandra Rappe, Nicky Kendall, David Kendall, Justin Kendall, and Jerrica Kendall; great-grandson: Tyler Rappe; cousin, Jim Lacher; nephews, Shawn and Scott Goebel; daughter-in-law, Jakalyn Kendall- Powers; and her beloved pet, Dakota.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Casper Benfit; son, Jon Kendall; and brother, Owen Goebel.
