Lisa Mary Kissner

Lisa Mary Kissner, 60, of Aberdeen, SD, passed away Monday, December 12, 2022, at Avera St. Luke’s Hospital.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 17, 2022, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Aberdeen, SD, with Father Jeffrey Schulte officiating.

Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour before Mass at the church.

Lisa Mary Akin was born on April 10, 1962, to Troy Bloom and Ramona Akin in Redfield, SD. Lisa was raised by her grandmother Lenor Akin in Ashton, SD.

Lisa married Kevin Kissner on December 17, 1992, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Aberdeen, SD. Lisa’s pride and joy in life was being a mother to her daughter Jamie and her son Cole. She so loved being a grandmother to her five beautiful grandchildren and of course to her grandpups: Ellie, Josie, Zeke, and Arya.

Lisa will be missed dearly by her husband Kevin Kissner; daughter, Jamie (Eric) Hoggarth; son, Cole Kissner, and his girlfriend Maria Waldner who Lisa loved just as her very own daughter; and grandchildren: Chloe, Hadleigh, Gunner, Paisley, and Cooper.

Lisa was preceded in death by her mother Ramona; father Troy; grandmother Lenor Akin; and daughter Heather Kissner.
