Larry Wayne Wenger

Larry W. Wenger, 74, of Aberdeen, passed away Monday, July 21, 2014, at Aberdeen Health & Rehab, under hospice care.

Larry's wishes were to be cremated with no funeral services being held.

Graveside committal service will take place at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 25, 2014, at Riverside Cemetery in Aberdeen with Pastor Deb Grismer presiding.

Larry Wayne Wenger was born on December 19, 1939, in Dodgeville, Wisconsin to Charles Howard and Florence (Schindler) Wenger. At a young age, Larry moved with his family to Seattle, Washington, where he was raised and attended school.

Larry entered the United State Air Force and spent four years stationed at Ellsworth Air Force Base in Rapid City, South Dakota, working on jet planes. Following his honorable discharge, he returned to Seattle, Washington, where he worked for Boeing Aircraft for many years.

Larry was united in marriage to Donna Gehring on April 23, 2009 in Aberdeen. The couple made Aberdeen their home, where Larry continued to reside until the time of his death.

Larry is survived by his wife, Donna Wenger of Aberdeen; three sisters: Pam (Tim) Harr of Aberdeen, Patricia (Albert) Schnaidt of Aberdeen, and Chuck (Linda) Ferris of Arizona; and his best friend and "brother", John Roach of Aberdeen.

Larry's grandparents, parents and one brother, Archie Wenger, preceded him in death.
