Larry Dean Arneson was born on May 10, 1959, in Mohall, North Dakota, to Robert and Helen (Dionne) Arneson. Later, Larry moved to Aberdeen, South Dakota, with his parents and eight siblings. He was raised there and attended local schools. He made Aberdeen his lifelong home.
Larry had many talents, which he showed in his many professions. One of them was farming, though he was also a talented mechanic and a pretty good cook, too!
Larry had been known to do a little fishing in his free time. He also loved his motorcycle, a Kawasaki 900, which he loved to take on road trips with his siblings and family.
Larry enjoyed spending time with his family, especially for the holidays. He loved to eat the delicious meals that only came around a couple of times a year, and he always saved room for his favorite, pumpkin pie!
Larry was truly loved by all and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Grateful to have shared Larry’s life are his siblings: Wayne (Roxanne) Arneson, David (Sherry) Arneson, Roger Arneson, Jerry (Michelle) Arneson, Mary (Erv) Malsam, Judy Shaw, all of Aberdeen, SD, and Sherry (Greg) Siva of Pala, CA; many nieces and nephews; and a very good friend Karen Kurtz.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Helen; one sister, Barbara; and one brother-in-law, Mike.
