Kyle Joseph Stuchl

Kyle Joseph Stuchl, 46, of Aberdeen, passed away, after a long illness, on Monday, October 21, 2013, at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, October 28, 2013, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 409 3rd Avenue SE, Aberdeen with Father Shane D. Stevens, Celebrant. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Aberdeen.

Schriver's Memorial Mortuary and Crematory, 414 5th Avenue NW, Aberdeen, is in charge of arrangements. Friends may sign his online guestbook at www.schriversmemorial.com.

Visitation will be 3-5 p.m., Sunday, at the mortuary, with a Liturgical Wake Service being held at 5:00 p.m. Visitation continues for one hour prior to Mass at the church on Monday.

Kyle Joseph Stuchl was born on July 13, 1967, at Aberdeen, SD, to Gerald "Jack" and Janet (Wendland) Stuchl. Kyle lived and attended school in Aberdeen while working at Pizza Hut and Weber Floral. Following Roncalli High School, Kyle worked at Pizza Patrol before moving to Sioux Falls, SD in 1986, where he worked as the Assistant Manager of Pizza Patrol. One year later, Kyle returned to Aberdeen and worked at KSDN Radio and Ernie November. He furthered his education at Presentation College, where he graduated with a degree in Histology. After receiving his degree, he worked for 14 years with Dr. Roy G. Burt, a job he absolutely loved. Kyle also worked for Ortho Express Ltd for fourteen years and spent one year with Sanford Hospital in addition to working part-time at Kessler's and Target.

Kyle was united in marriage to Vicki Nelson at Tulare, SD on June 19, 1993. The couple, along with their 3 puppies, made Aberdeen their home.

Kyle was an avid music lover and Chicago Cubs fan. In his spare time, he enjoyed pheasant hunting and fishing.

Grateful to have shared Kyle's life are his wife, Vicki and his three special devoted "girls": Zoey, Ellery and Sophie, of Aberdeen; parents, Jack & Janet Stuchl; grandmother, Anna Marie Stuchl; brother, Troy Stuchl; nephews: Tyler, Gavin, Taylor and Kaden Stuchl; aunts and uncles: Linda Tomska, Roy and Mary Jo Wendland, Dennis and Pat Brierly, Harold and Barb Larson, Kelly Wendland, Roger and Dolly Michels, Pat and Barb Cleberg, Willie and Patty Gruenwald and many other cousins.

Kyle was preceded in death by his grandparents: Jerry Stuchl, Roy Wendland and Alyce Wendland; his aunt, Sandy Manning; and his cousin, Sheldon Manning.
