Kennon Emanuel Broadhurst, MD, 79 of Aberdeen, passed away Friday, May 23, 2014 at Sanford Aberdeen Medical Center, with his family by his side.

His wishes are to be cremated and have a private service with his family.

Schriver's Memorial Mortuary & Crematory, 414 5th Ave NW is in charge of arrangements.

Kennon is survived by his wife, Perlita (Atienza) Broadhurst of Aberdeen, SD, his children, Kennon (Vanessa) Broadhurst of West Lake Village, CA, Kristina Broadhurst, MD and Karyna Broadhurst both of Long Beach, CA, two granddaughters, Sinclare and Rylan Broadhurst, one sister, Dorethea Branch of La Grange, NC, two sisters in law, Dr. Nan Manuel of Greensboro, NC, and Margarete Manuel and family of Pallyup, WA, one niece Marsha Goins and four nephews, Dennis Branch, Carl Manuel Jr., Eduard Manuel and Clement Manuel Jr..

Preceding Kennon in death are his parents, King Emanuel and Ethel Lee (Greenfield) Broadhurst, two brothers and one sister.
