Kaitlyn Anne Weisenburger

Kaitlyn Anne Weisenburger, 29, of Sioux Falls, SD, formerly of Aberdeen, SD, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2026, at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

Refreshments and fellowship will follow the service at the church hall.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 8, 2026, at Schriver's Memorial Chapel.

Kaitlyn Anne Weisenburger was born on October 16, 1996, in Aberdeen to Cory Weisenburger and Susan Jacobs.

Kaitlyn attended public schools in Aberdeen and graduated from Aberdeen Central High School in 2015. From the age of five, she participated in gymnastics and later became a gymnastics coach. While attending Aberdeen Central, she also competed in track and field, participating in pole vault and high jump.

Kaitlyn was an excellent cook and developed her culinary skills while working at Max & Erma's in Aberdeen. It was there that she met Patrick Arthur. Nearly ten years later, they reconnected and built a loving partnership together.

Following high school, Kaitlyn spent several years living in Wisconsin, where she made many lifelong friends, including her dear friend Sam, whom she met while working at Starbucks. She also shared a special lifelong friendship with Kylie. Best friends since the age of five, they were inseparable goofballs who grew up side by side and were always there for each other through every stage of life.

A gifted artist, Kaitlyn enjoyed drawing, painting, and sketching. She loved her dogs, traveling, and spending time outdoors. Hiking, water sports, and exploring new places were among her favorite activities.

Kaitlyn loved Cinderella, a passion she shared with her mother, and she loved all kinds of music because of her father. She and her sister, Kelcie, shared that love of music and attended many concerts together over the years.

Kaitlyn will be remembered for her creativity, adventurous spirit, and the love she shared with her family and friends.

Kaitlyn is survived by her parents, Cory Weisenburger and Susan Jacobs (Bryan Austin); her sister, Kelcie Weisenburger; her partner, Patrick Arthur; her grandmother, Helen Jacobs; her grandfather, Rodney Mack; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ronald Jacobs, Garold Weisenburger, and Debbie Mack.
