Visitation will be for one hour before the service on Thursday.

Judy Maureen Ell was born on June 30, 1952, to Alfred and Pauline (Mathern) Ell in Aberdeen. She lived in Aberdeen until she graduated from Roncalli High School in 1970.

In 1973, Judy moved to Minneapolis, MN to work for The Cargill Corporation. She spent her whole working career at Cargill and retired after 35 years of dedicated service.

Judy was united in marriage to Darrell Hinklin on December 8, 1984 in Monterey, California. To this union, their only son, Jason, was born in 1986. The family resided in Excelsior, Minnesota until October of 2006, when the couple divorced. Judy then moved to Winsted, Minnesota, where she found happiness in restoring an old house and planting a huge garden. In September of 2011, Judy moved to Aberdeen to take care of her mother. She continued to reside here until the time of her death.

In her spare time, Judy enjoyed interior decorating, writing, and making people smile. She had a special love for gardening and inherited her father's "green thumb". Judy was a tremendously hard worker who was full of life. She had a dynamic sense of humor that always brought laughs and smiles to many faces. Judy will be missed and forever loved by her family.

Judy is survived by her son, Jason Hinklin of Huntersville, NC; her mother, Pauline Ell and sister, Charlotte Ell, both of Aberdeen; her brother, Jeff Ell of Forney, TX; one sister-in-law, Susan Ell of Hopkins, MN; and many nieces and nephews.

She is reunited in heaven with her father, Alfred Ell and her brother, Kenneth Ell.
