Judy Ann Dutenhoffer

Memorial service for Judy Ann Dutenhoffer, 62, Aberdeen, will be 3:00 p.m., Monday, December 16, 2013, at Aberdeen Alliance Church, 1106 South Roosevelt Street, Aberdeen, with Pastor Mike Wood officiating.

Schriver's Memorial Mortuary & Crematory, 414 5th Ave. NW, Aberdeen, is in charge of arrangements.

Judy passed away Thursday, December 12, 2013, at Avera St. Luke's Hospital, Aberdeen, SD.

Judy Ann Salo was born June 29, 1951, to Emil and Betty (Moore) Salo in Oakes, ND. She graduated from Aberdeen Central High School. Judy was employed as a waitress at A & W Restaurant, Ward Hotel, Lumber Company, Holiday Inn and Perkins.

Judy and Tim Dutenhoffer were united in marriage October 25, 1980 in Aberdeen, SD. She enjoyed spending time with her family, having lunch dates with her grandson, Jordan, countless conversations with her grandson Matt, and watching her husband Tim work in the flower garden. She also enjoyed cooking and watching "The Young and The Restless".

Judy is preceded in death by her father, Emil, two brothers and one infant son.

Grateful to have shared in Judy's life are her husband, Tim of Aberdeen; her mother, Betty Salo of Aberdeen; her children: Michelle (Brad Ziegler) Ludwig of Aberdeen, SD, Nicolle Dutenhoffer of MN, Heather (Rick) Smith of WA, and Neil (Ellen) Dutenhoffer of NE; seven grandchildren: Matt and Jordan Ludwig, Nathan, Alyssa, Aiden, Kiara and Chris Dutenhoffer; and her siblings: Mike (Vickie) Salo, Connie (Dan) Mathiason and Roger (Patty) Salo, all of Aberdeen, SD.
