Judith M. (Uhrich) Adler was born November 25, 1944, in Aberdeen, SD, to Joe and Mary (Daschel) Uhrich. She was raised and attended school in the Roscoe, SD area before moving with her family to Aberdeen in the fall of 1956. Following graduation from Aberdeen Central High School in 1962, Judy became employed with Control Data in Aberdeen, where she worked for several years.

Judy was united in marriage to Jerald J. "Jerry" Adler on August 19, 1972, in Aberdeen. Four sons blessed their union. The family made their home on a farm near Ipswich, SD, where they lived and farmed for many years. In 1993, they sold all the farmland except for the farm site itself. In the fall of 2001, they sold the farm site and moved to Aberdeen. While in Aberdeen, Judy found employment with Godfather's Pizza and remained with them until the business closed. Most recently she was employed with the Aberdeen School District as a lunchroom assistant, working at Holgate Jr. High School and then later at Simmons Junior High. Judy continued to make Aberdeen her home until the time of her death.

Judy was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Aberdeen, the National Catholic Society of Foresters Ipswich Chapter and the Ipswich Lions Club. She enjoyed collecting salt-&-pepper shakers and had accumulated a large collection over the years. She was also an avid sports fan, especially of the Northern State University Wolves and the Minnesota Twins. She loved attending NSU basketball and football games.

Blessed to have shared in Judy's life is her husband, Jerry Adler of Aberdeen; four sons: Duane Adler and Michael Adler, both of Aberdeen, Andrew Adler of Huron, SD, and Patrick Adler of Aberdeen; one brother, Marvin (Lorraine) Uhrich of Roscoe, SD; and one sister, Luella Baus of Seattle, WA.

Judy's parents and one brother-in-law, Howard Baus, preceded her in death.
