Jeffrey Robert Hoefer, 44, of Aberdeen, SD, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at his home.

A Celebration of Life for Jeff will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at the R&A Bar. Lunch will be served.

Burial will be at Freidens Cemetery.

Jeffrey Robert Hoefer was born on June 13, 1980, to a very young couple who decided to put him up for adoption. His adoptive father was a good person, but his life was short. Jeff’s life was changed when his father was killed in an accident, so Jeff went to live with other foster families.

In high school, Jeff attended a military school and enrolled in college. However, he did not enjoy that! He worked many jobs, such as landscaping, bartending at the Eagles, bouncer at the Silver Dollar, and various restaurant and bartending jobs.

Jeff enjoyed talking to people and made friends very quickly wherever he went. He enjoyed helping people however he could, and one way he did this was through donating blood. He had a rare blood type and continued to donate blood as much as he could. Jeff was passionate about sports betting, and his favorite holiday was Halloween! He loved to decorate and dress in costume. He also especially enjoyed all types of music and loved his cat, Izzie.

Jeff enjoyed life and loved challenges, and he endured many of those throughout his life. A charming man with sparkling baby blue eyes, Jeff will be dearly missed by all of his friends, as well as everyone else who has experienced his helping and loving nature.
