Jeff S. Schumacher, 56, of Bath, SD, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2014, at his home.
Jeff's wishes were to be cremated. A gathering and time of sharing memories and stories about Jeff's life will be held from 1-4 p.m., Sunday, May 25, 2014, at Schriver's Memorial Fellowship Center, 414 5th Avenue NW, Aberdeen.

Jeff S. Schumacher was born on January 19, 1958, to Albert C. and Elizabeth (Stefan) Schumacher in Aberdeen, SD. He was raised and attended school in Aberdeen until the age of 13, when he moved with his family to Minnesota.
Following his graduation from Rosemount High School in Rosemount, MN, he joined the Army National Guard and served until receiving his Honorable Discharge in 1980. Jeff then resided in Colorado for a short time before returning to Minnesota. In 1989, he moved back to Aberdeen to take care of family and held various occupations such as business owner, machinist, and mechanic. Jeff was an all-around handy man and always willing to help out his neighbors and many friends.
Surviving Jeff are his seven siblings: Jolaine (Clyde) Weros of Ortonville, MN, Jackie (Bob) Dull of Draper, UT, Judy (Charlie) Theis of Fort Worth, TX, Jamie (Kathy) Schumacher of Eagan, MN, Jon Schumacher of Aberdeen, SD, Jana Schumacher of Bath, SD, and Jorene (Rick) LeBreck of Oconto, WI; many nieces and nephews; and many great-nieces and nephews.
Jeff's parents and one sister, Janelle Schumacher, preceded him in death.
