Jeannine Hoon

Memorial Service for Jeannine Hoon, 69, of Aberdeen will be 3:00 p.m., Friday, June 27, 2014, at Schriver's Memorial Mortuary and Crematory, 414 5th Avenue NW, Aberdeen with Rev. D'Cruz Nicholas officiating. Jeannine's wishes were to be cremated and burial of her cremated remains will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery at a later date. A time of fellowship and luncheon will follow the service at Schriver's Memorial Fellowship Center. Jeannine passed away Sunday, June 22, 2014, at her home.
Jeannine O'Brien was born January 24, 1945 to Frank and Edith (Pfeiffer) O'Brien in Milwaukee, WI. At a young age , she moved with her family to Aberdeen were she was raised, attended St. Mary's Parochial School and Aberdeen Central High School.
Jeannine married Sylvester Hoon in 1962 at Aberdeen. Jeannine was employed with Control Data and Banner Engineering for many years.
Jeannine enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, traveling, fishing and especially enjoyed the company of her puppies.
Jeannine is survived by her long time partner and best friend, Dennis Dayton of Aberdeen, two sons, David (Penny) Hoon of Humbolt, SD and Ricky (Dawn) Hoon of Aberdeen, one daughter, Charlene (Randy) Krusz of Adrian, MN, one sister, Sharon (Barney) Bryant of Aberdeen, seven grandchildren, Abby (Nick) Underberg, Travis (Emily) Hoon, Zach Hoon, Erick Hoon, Clinton Jaqua, Cassandra Jaqua, John Bull, David Hope, and five great grandchildren.
Preceding Jeannine in death are her parents, one granddaughter, Sara Hoon and daughter-in-law Mary Hoon.
