Jeanne D. (Meyers) Atchley, 66, of Aberdeen, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2015, at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.
Jeanne's wishes were to be cremated with private family services being held at a later date.

Jeanne D. Meyers was born May 22, 1949, in Huron, SD, to Arthur and Rita (Flanagan) Meyers. At a young age, she and her family moved to Aberdeen, where she was raised and attended school. Following graduation from Aberdeen Central High School, Jeanne furthered her education at the Aberdeen School of Commerce.
Jeanne was united in marriage to Jim Atchley and one son, Travis, was born to this union.
Jeanne waitressed at several establishments in Aberdeen before becoming a nurse's aide and working for several area nursing homes. She continued to reside in Aberdeen until the time of her death.
Jeanne's family would like to thank her neighbors and friends that cared for, helped, and supported Jeanne throughout the years.
Grateful to have shared in Jeanne's life is her son, Travis Atchley of Sioux Falls, SD; her sister, Judy (Udo) Stascheit of Dalton, GA; and her brother, Jeree (Lynn) Meyers of Aberdeen, SD.
Jeanne is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Rita Meyers.
